Been trying to read about the original taillights and getting some confusion. This is a duolamp housing, duolamp license plate frame and no license plate light in the housing ? Any thoughts . It came in a group of 32-36 parts

whoever thought it was important to keep the bracket / mount with this ***embly as it’s broken but was wire strapped to the license frame to stay together

To my knowledge Ford did not offer a tail lamp without the license lens in 1932. Also, the bracket you have is cast aluminum, it’s an aftermarket piece and your license plate mount is correct, some reproductions have Duolamp stamped upside down.

I had read about some overseas lights like Denmark / Australia that didn’t have license lights but haven’t seen anymore on that. I’m also unsure it’s aluminum because it’s so puttied up with some sort of JB weld . Caked on very thick . Just surprised me someone would save and try to repair a repop part

I commented on the bracket being cast because of the trough that was filed in for the wiring to p*** through. Original brackets had a nicely radiused trough on the stamping.

As stated, the bracket looks like cast aluminium.
I have a pair that I bought new (possibly in the 1980’s) and they came with the same rough channel at the same angle as the one shown.
Easy to clean up for paint.
I would think that all of what you have shown, is reproduction.
It’s all just too pristine for 93 years old………
