Well then it is true! If you can get your money back by disputing the charge to your credit card company, then you've lost nothing but time.

 

They wouldn't accept it anyway. When I want to "test" a vendor site, I fill in all the info required with false information, as I don't want them to have all my address and phone number, email either. Then it will get me to the checkout where I can see if it's legitimate.

And don't ever trust reviews! The same scammers who build these sites also build the reviews to help them lure in people. You can occasionally do a internet search to ask if a site is a scam, but sometimes there's not enough feedback to know for sure.
