    Hey guys!

I might have found a harmonic balancer for my truck at a local junk yard for a good price. They told me it was out of a 53 223 ford (223 wasn't rolled out until 54 wasn't it?).

The part number on my dead crank damper/pulley is EAG 6316A

    He said it was C/D2AE 6316A...He couldn't tell if it was a D or a C...

    Any ideas?

C was 60s D was 70s. A C2 part might be for a 223 as that would denote 1962 part. 6316 is the base number for a damper no matter what engine.
