I did a search for the thread that featured the build of this car .....

but came up empty. Maybe I'm using the wrong words to search on.

Recently I've seen photos of this green "convertible" that looks almost like the black car and even has the same license plate. Is it the same car that was reworked to remove the top before it was repainted, or is it a new car that they borrowed the license plate for?

Did you bother to compare the license plates?

I like it with the top on, back window could be a little bigger.

  10. From the front, that Stude aircraft fuselage look really stands out without front fenders! I like this one. Cool!

Just needs a prop and wings. I'm so diggin' this!

  13. Black and with a top looked so much better. What a way to ruin such a wicked looking car. I don't think I would stop and look at the new version at a show, the black version though? I would be all over that taking pic's!!

    Doc.

Man that car is cool! From the front that things about as cool a car as I've seen in a long time. The whole concept is outstanding!

Absolutely, the first build was about as bitchin as it gets (especially painted black). The revision? NO WAY!!!

Yep, same car. I too hate the green version without the top and the addition of the cheezy scoop, but you have to know Russ....

Maybe it will be a sedan delivery next, who knows?

OH NO! I have seen that car at a few past shows and always loved it. I don't think I like the green update as much but it's not my car, so to each their own. Who ever built the thing is one hell of a craftsman!
