Don't try to save it for the sake of it being a '32! If its not in your skill level, I would leave it 1932 Fords are too expenssive to build to begin with, and parts are sold for stupid prices. Find yourself a nice '30 or '31, and you will save thousands of dollars.
it's all relative...but if it were me...I'd do it... looks very saveable to me... It'll need a good bit of work though... looks like the inner panels of the doors are gone, looks like there's a bunch of lead or fibergl*** piled on the quarters where it meets the roof... (may be wrong, but that's what it looks like to me)... also, the panel above where the decklid goes is all screwed up...that piece isn't suppossed to be any where near that long... a good roof with drip rails is the most important part (hardest thing to find)...
roadster quarters flare out more where it meets the fender... looks really good to me... the big difference though...roadster quarters are longer front to back... so you have to trim a little off the front
If you can't save it, p*** the deal along to somebody that will. The gods will not be smiling if this goes to s****.
If you dont have the skills there is a heap of $$ in getting that ready for any sort of paint. If you are serious about bidding on it I sure wouldnt have let another 40,000 people into Trad hot rods know about it......
Thanks Dirty. I just need a roof and door tops to "save another". I would give the lowers to another victim going through rehab. I need the hair!
I love those '32 Model A's..... Seriously, you could get a nice 30 - 31 coupe body for what that hunk'a junk will go for.
Ok! It's 2500 or so for qt. panels and it needs a floor, decklid, below deck lid, rain gutters, door skins, cowl patches, wood kit, chopped, holy chit.... I say 10 grand worth of metal work if not more.. Whats your estimate????
