I was looking at this car this morning. the damage and missing parts are ok everthing can be worked out I saw that the car was from back east and am really conceredn about the rust pit the quality of the steel that is there. with a few parts and some skill it is worth saving YES but I have put worse ones back together. The main thing is to get it right, putting roadster quaters on a five window could work but these quaters can be saved and a five window deserves five window quaters. this is a small corner patch the same thing that this car will more than likely need, only larger. Just my two cents take what you want from it. Rex
I'll up the anti to two Internationals and an Ugo with easy miles. When do I pick it up, I''l restore it some day.
These rumors are started by the same guys that swear you can put a fordor front door on a 5/W coupe. And believe me they've never actually done it... or seen anyone else do it...I have, and yes, it can be done possibly with good results but it will take a huge amount of time to make it right. I mean for that matter you can use a '32 Hupmobile 1/4 as long as you enjoy the challenge and don't care how different it is from original right?
I agree with the m***es save it '32's are getting harder to find especially up here in Canada. A little soap and water should fix her up just fine...haha. Rob
Its worth saving. I paid 5 grand for this pile. A couple of my friends like to refer to mine as being a piece of tin foil that you rolled into a ball, and then tried to straighten again. But ****, I love it and I think it was worth every cent. Its my favorite car and I now own it! My car makes that thing look like show winner.
That is definitely worth saving. I sure hope someone gets it that can bring it back to its past glory.
Save it by all means!!! Turn it into a oval track jalopy racer. You have everything to make this into a very special car. Please!! Good luck! Tom
I reckon $8,500. theres somethin about those photos that makes it look quite solid, And ebay bidders are nuts..most overpay by 30-50% on deuce stuff.
It's certainly worth saving but will take either a fat wallet and a ton of skill, or a really, really fat wallet and no skills. So unless you really have a hardon for a '32, or want to make it an early stock car, I'd p***.
Hmmm... He won't accept bidders who don't have a PayPal acct(yes, I just tried to bid on it) Oh well, I've got enough on my plate I would have liked to tried to get it... (and F*ck PayPal. They are a bunch of thieving *****s if you ask me!)
on a side note, he also has a model A rolling ch***is with a banger & trans on Ebay, starting at $100 with no bids yet... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1930...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item20ae1a2b96
Definately worth saving. You should see some of the wrecks some of us have to start with over this side of the pond!Consider yourself lucky that you can still find this stuff.
