I was hoping that no one would post my coupe....or the half of one I own. I would hardly say I am saving it at the moment but I am mustering up the info and energy to do so in the next few years. So far I found a brand new roadster quarter on ebay for $280 and had that blasted just to make sure it's clean before I prime it. I also cut the original quarters off because that's what was making it look worse to me when I stared at it. It now does not look so bad to me or at least I can see myself actually getting it into shape. It's stored in a shed right now until I get my other **** going. I am confident that this car will be everything that I ever wanted after I throw some time and money at the thing.:D:D:D

It's okay. I'm not talented enough to save it anyway... At what point does a Brookville body start looking good? It's one thing to have a gennie car and another to have a patched up body. Or even a UFO.. I'm sure there are some talent in here to put it back better than new. Good luck guys!

Well since Brookville does not make 5 windows it is not an option for those who prefer them over a 3 window. I would much rather put 23 grand into saving a real deal 5 window then throwing it down for a brand new 3 window. Now that's not because the 3 window is new but more because I prefer 5 windows.

HAHA! I know that car...I talked to the guy a while back...way before it was ever on ebay...

I know a little more of the background on the car, but not sure if I should post it...

But, when I talked to the kid, he said the car was completely original....
(if you've talked to him, you can tell he doesn't have a clue what he's talking about)... it's funny how he keeps reffering to it as "a rare piece of automotive history"

The kid seemed impossible to deal with...pretty arrogant/rude in my opinion too...

not to mention he keeps going up on the price...it was a lot cheaper when I found out about it....

I wonder what will ever happen to that car...

Well things got screwed up the airport this morning... It turns out I should be in Pittsburgh, PA about the time this auction ends. My route is I70 through Ohio to Indy and I74 to Peoria, IL. I can take it home with me to Peoria, Il or anywhere in between. I will be in the Chicagoland area (Joliet) on next Thursday for Thanksgiving.

Ended up going for $3500 and change. Not too bad for what it is.

For $25 less the seller could have given the second highest bidder a "Second Chance" offer. The hulk might not be worth $2220+ to anyone one.

To me it doesn't look like it's worth $500 but that's me, I'm no '32 Ford expert.
