Good find, good buy. Don't see many of them here! Worrying whether or not it was a good buy will only cause aggrevation. So, start building and have fun!

I think you did well, considering how badly rotted most old bodies are around here. I paid more than that for my cab. My opinion, good clean, straight steel around here, worth the extra dough.

I paid a little more for my 29 Pontiac 3 window and it was all in pieces. But I have it all and the sheetmetal is pristine.

I think that you did just fine.

The way I l justify buying any old car part is it will be worth the same or more than you paid for it in the future. If you can afford it and you want it buy it.

all it needs is red wheels if your user name is an indication of where you're taking it.

At least its not a 68 Newport.......dont let the user name fool you ...and it very well may have red wheels when its done.
I believe the title asked "Is this worth what I paid for it??" Not if it needs red wheels or not......thank you.

Right now your total investment is 1000.00. The body is ALWAYS the cheap part. When the car is finished and you can add up the total cost of the build, 1000.00 for the body is going to look way less significant. With that philosophy I always start with the best body that I can find. You did good.

  12. We all need a little positive reinforcement from time to time. I think it looks fine for the price. The doors are worth that IMO. ~Sololobo~
