Chef,Shaft or just plain old Isaac..another one of the great 70's icons gone.My friend Bob built him a custom chopper back in the days..70's show bike style with gold plating and tons of engraving.I'll see if i can find a pic.......

Although I remember him from when I was younger,Shaft,Escape from New York. I think i'll remember him most from South Park!!!!!

I grew up im Memphis. He actually started out as a singer with the the teen town singers.They were sponsered by a radio station WDIA.It was the 1st all black station in the US.Among notable DJ's they had were BB King (early 50's) and Rufus "the Dog " Thomas.
A friend of mine went on the road with Hayes as his guitar player.He always looked forward to the guitar solo on Shaft."I got to go nuts on it".
He will always be a bad ......you know what I'm talkin about;......."Shaft".
