isky adj. lifters for flattie

    lifters look good but putting different cam in motor. is there any good way to resurface or renew or prepare surface for different cam. 59ab 276" motor. Cam is max 1 isky.

    Sure, at lest two or three cam grinders mentioned on this board before in other threads regrind lifter bases. I believe that Delta is one of them.

    Elgin has done mine and they look better than new. Not expensive to do. Do you have a cam grinder local to you. It's a common service.

    Mike Herman at H&H Flatheads did my old Johnson lifters. Did a nice job in a short amount of time and at a fair price.
