i finaly have something to contribute. certainly not on the same level as many of the regulars but i'm proud of them none the less.

first two are a couple tattoo flash type doodles (for chics) i did at work on my down time. the last is an all metal welded steel picture frame (with my most recent April May photo purchase.).

can't wait to see what the rest of you have to contribute and i could'nt wait to post mine. off to Indy tonight so i could'nt wait for Friday in America. :D

NO! ha ha. i don't care but if you start sellin em i want a cut. :D i have MANY other ideas in my noodle for other custom metal picture frames (i've even sketched a few so i don't forget). I plan to build them and maybe even sell a few (if i can cut the production time down a bit. this one took about 3 hours start to finish.).

I certainly didn't paint it but I thought I'd post it anyway. I received this oil painting of Big Olds on Saturday as a birthday gift. I was totally blown away. It is so f@*king cool. It's already hanging on a wall in my living room. Now I just have to decide if I should frame it or paint the wall a color that compliments the painting.:D

I'd like to extend a very special thank you to Larry for the most generous gift and to Dan Brown, the artist, for doing such an outstanding job. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to both of you.

I was in the swap area when you were posing for this picture and the boys and I thought it was really cool. Nice work, I'd be proud.

I finally get to contribute to a Friday Art thread... and it's not even car related.

Between finishing school, moving, starting a new job, etc. over the last few months I have had no time or money for the car :( To add to it, I moved a few weeks ago, but the coupe hasn't made the trip yet. To hold me over, and get me in the garage, I decided to try something that I saw here on the HAMB a while ago.
It may be a bit fruity to some of you, but it earned me some serious brownie points with the g/f

I turned some 26ga. sheetmetal and 3/16" rod into this:

    Nice Git'tar there Cab!
    Sean72 nice work.
Jeff, cool video, tho it was dark on the PC. I'll check it out again in the Mac, see if it's clearer.

Way to busy for words so here's a quicky sketch that's going to be a complete illus. some day. (Dad had a '69 like this, what a sweet ride. Did you know that even Cadillacs need motor oil? Yeah,...that's how one of my brothers spoiled my plans of a twin turbo 472 Caddy!)

I've got nothin this week personally, but, if you missed my thread on Don Bonhams work...
Do a search for Don Bonham and it will come up. Or, go to www.donbonham.com
    It's worthwhile.

I'm working on a project for a band that I saw play the Continental Club Austin while I was in Texas last summer. They needed a design for jackets, I thought that a shop truck door would make a great design...

Still a work in progress... needs to be aged and I'm going to chop the door.

Here is a t-shirt design I did for a local youth center, The Key, that is trying to build a skate park here in town. I put on a skater show at my gallery and had these shirts for sale for $20, all profits going to the skate park.
