I like the flat paint. Or would you call it satin?

    That's one sweet cabriolet.

  11. Thank you! Actually it was originally a 5 window - for whatever reason the top was cut off, the windshield chopped and a new fiberglass lift off top made for it. The top initially was just 5-7 layers of fiberglass I think. I added hardwood around the windows, a header and a way to attatch it to the windshield, put in a rear window surround, and had it upholstered to make it look like a folding top (sort of). I then made some lexan side windows that can pop in and out. It’s been a great ride so far …. a real road warrior I can tell you that …..

  12. Thanks for your kind words! After 8+ years of being a road warrior though she is definitely showing its age. Once I got things straightened out motor wise (what’s in it now is the first motor that blew the #5 rod bearing. I put in another rebuilt motor in it and after 1500 miles she leaked oil like a sieve. It had the wrong size main bearings in it. Yanked that out, repaired the original motor with a new rod, crank cut and polish, new bearings nags, assembled it, and she has been running hard ever since …. so it wasn’t all perfect early on), she has been great.

Bottom line, she is well broken in now in all aspects …. and that is how it should be imho.
