Good for you, it’s easy to have a cavalier attitude when you’re not the one who would have to find and pay for a new windshield.

I would be curious to know who you think pays for my windshields : )

Is the convertible windshield different from the coupes or sedans on these Chryslers?

That’s not relevant when you’re telling someone else to go get theirs broken :D

Different then sedans for sure and it’s my car so if someone wants to think I’m a pansy for waiting a week or two before I drive it then a couple things come to mind:

    1) It’s my car I’ll do what I want

    2) I sure as***** don’t care what someone else does with their car, therefore I sure as***** don’t care what anyone thinks I should do with mine.

    3) someone who has no idea who I am wants to call me names on the internet isn’t someone I have any interest in knowing anyways.

    4) see # 1

And it runs. Ignore the fuel line and makeshift vacuum plugs, that’ll all be corrected, I live in a rural area and there is nothing close that’s open on a Sunday and I wanted to hear it run.

Hah! I still have lots to do, build the proper fuel lines, reroute and clean up some plug wires, I have different valve covers to go on, I had full intentions of waiting until it was warm and wash the engine and engine bay and paint the engine, hence the turquoise intake.

    Then....

Yesterday it snowed about four inches, I needed car therapy so I said***** it and here we are.

Hey why don't you pull a Falcongeorge on that guy and officially ignore him!

But doesn't the insurance company pay for the replacement window? Would you have to search one out? I suppose there a limit on what they would pay? Just curious...

With that dual quad on there will you have a hard time keeping the needle in the top 1/2 of the tank? :D

Don't; use that time driving/cruising. Then next winter when there's a foot of snow on the ground do your cleaning.

Gearing is terrible for bottom end power, doesn’t feel much different than the two barrel, definitely much better top end, (duh). The linkage is 1:1 and it pulls clean no matter when you stab the throttle, if you never opened the hood you wouldn’t know they were there!!

Ultimately it was all for looks anyways![emoji41]

I wish! No heated shop so summer is my only car season!

I’ve put probably 300 miles on it already this year and haven’t even washed the dirt off from sitting all winter.

not much new other then driving the wheels off the big Chrysler, one of these days when I need a break from the Fargo it’s getting an altitude adjustment.

Rolled over 100,000 miles on the way to work this morning, I missed when it was all zeros. My four year old daughter insisted we drive the convertible today, who am I to argue?

I had to draw the line when she wanted the top down as it was minus 4 Celsius when we left the house. I did have the top down on the way home yesterday. The end of October the car and the Fargo will get put away for the winter.
