It about #@~^ time!!

Discussion in 'New to the H.A.M.B.? Introduce yourself here!' started by Zeke Fishburn, Apr 17, 2007.

  1. Never properly introduced myself here. Thought I'd take the time to do so.

This is my car; 56 210 with a 235 & a 'glide. I’ve owned her for thirteen years now. Been in the family since day one. I'm the fourth generation to own it. The words written on the ***le by the last uncle to own it were, "Keep it in the family. Keep it original. Keep driving it."

It's the middle part of that statement I have issues with. Still stock...for now.

My first car was a 67 Sedan De Ville back in the early 80’s. I wish I still had it. That one got the hooks in me something fierce. I’m certainly no mechanic but I’ve done minor wrenching.

Spent a great deal of time and the ZRXOA board since about 2000 and enjoy all the great things that come from a message board about something I love. Had a bad crash on the bike and found more time for the 56, which is a good thing. I’ve stumbled around here for maybe a year now, I dunno. Many have ***isted me with various answers and advice on a few topics. Thanks for all the input.

Anyway, thanks for letting me hang out here.

  3. Original color scheme was all tropical torquois without the black. My great uncle Bill had it painted like that back in the sixties, I think. Has lots of filler and some rust. She is certainly a twenty footer. Photographs well, though.
