It had to be an interesting conversation

Imagine... It's 1930 something and a few guys are standing around when the decision is made... " I'm gonna put this "A" roadster on this model B frame. Instant V-8. What do you think?"

Maybe the conversation went nothing like that... maybe there wasn't even a conversation. Maybe it was out of necessity. "Wrecked my V-8 sedan and I need a car so this Model A body will do".

Or perhaps it was "purpose" driven...." I'll bet we can run faster at the lakes with a lighter "A" body"

How do you think the conversation went????

Ed Athans might know, he was building the "Elvis Roadster" before the war.

Joe:"Damn, I can't find a 32 roadster for a decent price anywhere and I looked in the back row of every car lot in town"

Jack: "There's a good Model A roadster at Finnegan's junk yard. He told me I could have the body for $5 bucks"

Joe: "Wonder if it will fit ?"

Jack: :"It should, it's a Ford isn't it? And the old lady down the street still has that nice 32 sedan for only $50 bucks".
