Tweaked47 (lurker) RULES! Todd came over again tonight, even though he works a terrible shift at his job. We got his electric fuel pump jimmy rigged to fill the float bowl and messed with the timing. We even tired to see if it was off 180, nope. But when we were putting it back Todd moved the gear one tooth, and success . It turned over and ran under its own power! A little carb adjustment and we proceeded to fill the garage with exhaust! We shut her down after about 2 min of running since I don't have the radiator installed yet. That will come. I need to get the starter rebuilt (it is weak) and get some new plug wires. Hunnert car pile up hear I come (NOT).

Congratulations! There's little more satisfying than hearing that engine run under its own power the first time! Oh, yeah!

TV from the HAMB, just emailed me to let me know that he was sending me a 6V fuel pump for free! The HAMB rules!!!

Once I get that on, I need to rebuild the starter, remove the canister-type filter (leaks bad), put the radiator in and change the plug wires. Then she gets new brakes all the way around, including lines. Some tires. AND then it is cruise baby cruise!!!!
