I put on fatmans dropped spindles and 2 inch lowered springs but it has a good case of bump steer and I am tired of the tires rubbing the fenders and hitting the inner fenders on big bumps so something will be done this winter. I dont want to give up the disc brakes and cant just get new springs since I will be replacing the 351-W with a Y block and wont get to do that for a couple years and need to get it raised up sooner,I cant find anyone who makes a kit to put the granada discs of original spindles and every other spindle I found lowered it by at least a inch. I can get modified granada spindles or a kit for the original spindles but not for granada parts and there is a spindle made for granada brakes but its pricey and lowers it about a inch so I need some ideas.

I have heard Gearhead will make a spindle that will keep the spindles at ride height. I believe the disc kit they supply with it is the Granada.

I'm not sure that I follow you completely...but here's an idea:

Put the stock springs back into it. That should raise it up and get rid of most of the bumpsteer. Then use wheels that position the tires further inward to give yourself more fender clearance.

Unless I've missed something, that should pretty much do it. :)

My disc brake kit is a Gearheads kit and it keeps the ride height stock.

I did, however, have to ask them to make it that way....the typical configuration for them is a two inch drop. And yes...the brakes and calipers are Granada.

I will look into the Gearheads spindles and I thought about putting the stock springs back in but with the 351 it will sit way too high,it might be better for me to get another Y block and then put it togather then.

I got too much in the Fatmans spindles to just give up on them so I am going to order a stock height set of front springs for the 351-w/C-4 combo and get the car up and drive it untill I get a Y block ready for it,I should still have the original springs out in the shed so when it comes time for a Y block I will put them back in. I am also going to get rid of the 2.79 gears and step them up to 3.00 or 3.25 and should waken the 351 up some and who knows it just might stay in it.
