While it's a nice conspiracy theory, and Plum Island did do some tick disease research-you can find the papers published online- there is no scientific evidence that the disease is man-made. In fact, there is significant evidence of similar European disease and colonial diseases for 100's of years. Given the fact that the disease must have a tick carrier which has to feed on two different kinds of hosts in two different seasons over two years and that it is a very unusual spiral shaped bacterium with specific requirements and protein coat changes to become infectious, it seems pretty unlikely that this is a product of germ warfare. there are just too many variables to manage. Anthrax, plague, now there you're talking.
I've always sprayed down with OFF before going to the junk yard or woods hunting. My friends have been covered in ticks and I've had none. Mabey it helps or mabey I didn't walk through the tick land mines. I still worry more about the snakes and spiders. 28
You may have post Lyme Fibromyalgia, get yourself checked by your doctor. I was diagnosed with this about a year ago and was given some good medication, I can't shake the fatigue sometimes but the pain isn't as bad.
Just a little trick! If you get covered in seed ticks take duck tape and roll it up backwards on your hands and start patting yourself down! The ticks will get stuck in the tape and pull them off! I learned this from a friend that worked in the logging woods. Works pertty good! If they do get attached shave one part and set the other part on fire and stab them with an ice pic when they run out! J/K!!!
