A friend of mine had a couple of license plates welded into the floor of his 64 chevy. We were pretty surprised to find those in there.

Ok, this is how sick of a hot rod mind I have. Last week when they showed the Amish funerals and they were all riding in their cleaned and polished horse drawn buggies and carriages all I could think of was how cool a rod one of those would make!
Not trying to make light of that horrible tragedy, but that's what popped in my head when watching it.

It's nice, but not as nice as mine. (Yes, I am the hobo, in case you were wondering.)

I ride the best, 'cuz I come from the WEST!

I see it all the time on the road driving..it is an ol euclid beach park ride..it looks really sweet he drives it standing up kinda like a boat or something..really a sight to see driving down the road with just a bunch of random people...plus its a piece of local history:)

I see a lot of high school kids trying to make race cars out of hondas

This would be exactly opposite of what the post is about, but a local******** has a rather nice and solid Model A tudor sedan body on what looks to be leftovers of a trike cycle. It's a horrid abberation of perfectly good hotrod parts!

I never manage to have the camera with me when I see him, but I swear I'm going to beat the***** outta him and steal the body and put it to good actual use.

That's the MOXIE promotional car. It was at Clark's Trading Post Museum in Lincoln NH several years ago. May still be there along with some really classic cars a motorcycles. Good take.

There was plans printed in Hot Rod Mechanix a decade or so back on using a severely narrowed pick up box to make a single seat runabout.

You have got to like the coffin contraption. When your passenger dies of embarassment, you can slam the lid down and drop him in a hole.
