Had a '59 New Yorker ... $87.50 back row car on the Olds dealer's lot. Fixed a lot of little things & dropped it on the ground. That engine was something you'd never forget ...
My '55 Ford Customline with a Golden Lion 413. Backed by an A-833. Had it striped in red and white a few weeks ago at GoodGuys Scottsdale.
'60 Chrysler 300F In a collection I worked on. Pull the intake to install valve cover gaskets. This car gets it on for a tuna boat. 375hp. Push-button transmission and space age dash.
i have a 413 in my fed. ported heads, adjustable rockers and big cam. it's not running but it will probably go faster than i can in my class.
Since I'm late to the party, I'm going to claim the cylinders are worn so it's a 415. Here is my 65 Imperial sourced 413 in my 53 Henry J. Life prevents completion, but man am I chomping. At the bit to get it done .Dual quads(inline), custom built headers, a summit white box .484 lift cam are some of the goodies I have acquired for it so far
This is some of the outrageous engineering that inspired me as a kid! Amazing what the pulses do inside those runners.
About 3 years ago my buddy got a set off ebay for $600. Didn't have air cleaners and not all pieces of the throttle linkage. I don't recall there were carbs either.
