Talkin' about the LOUVERS PRESS here! K-Member and Oldbeet had a great louvers party today. The machine works very well and let me tell you: Those guys are PRO.

We started with the tailgate from K-Member's badass truck...

It turned out VERY well! Looks bitchin' in flat black with some pinstraiping...

So our next target was my Model "A" Coupe's deck lid. She was a 80-years old VIRGIN with no holes so we punched the hell out of her!!!

    Watch your fingers. Please.

Did I already mention that it was HOT... Well, it was! What the hell, some more beer with BBQ...

Here we go... It's neat isn't it! It's pretty much as beautiful as a louvered Model A deck lid can ever be... Excellent design done with good eye + high-talented and motivated guys + professional tools = The best result you can get!

Of course we needed to fit the finished lid into K-Member's Coupe. Looking GOOOOD....

I had great time, again. I have an awesome deck lid to take back home and put to my car. Thanks K-Member and Oldbeet! Let me say this one more time: If you need some holes punched to you steel, just let K-Member know, you won't regret!

I try to finish my new Youtube movie named "The Saturday Louvers Party" by tomorrow... :)

One more photo. Some Bonneville salt race style here... Combined to early backyard hotrodding... Note the pretty good-looking decklid there.... :)

Very impressed. I tried briefly doing louvers with an ancient "Pullmax" in the Navy. It's harder than it looks to do em clean.

  8. So Keith's gonna give up being a tattoo artist and become a louver artist! :D
Thanks for the pics Mika. Keith

Haha... It's so much easier to work with actors who are not hiding and running away from me like those babes in my previous attempts... lol

Glad you liked the music, it's always difficult, somehow. So who wants some more louvers? Anyone? :)

Big thanks to FEDER, as he supplied and did all the fab and welding on the frame. This thing is stout, on wheels and weights in around 1000 pounds. If it wasn't for him we would still be building the frame...........OLDBEET

hey K-member, i dig those hubcaps...cause i got a set!:D you don't see many of those! Hollywood i think? mine are a bit rougher, got them from a hamber a couple of years ago. i'm curious, what size wheel do your caps fit, and what size wheels are they on? my caps fit 14" wheels, but i'm gonna weld em to some 15" trim rings to make em work, looks like you did the same thing?

    oh yeah, nice louvers too!

Ray, those are mine and they are 14 inch screwed to 15 inch rings. Funny I got them a neighbor that was moving ($23) claimed he stole them in 1959. But was always scared to put them on his car as had never seen another set. Been in a box in a burlap bag, but are rougher than they look........OLDBEET
