I've wanted to do a plaid kandy roof on something...my old '65 Coupe DeVille would have been perfect. But then again, I own more plaid than the average human should.

Ok, thanks for the suggestion. I could put and old-school wrap on top of the Compton coupe, to match the interior.
Regretfully, I won't be able to make the trip to the Roundup this time, so will miss Keith's get together.

I like plaid in the interior. Not the whole interior but just a little 2 -5 inch line on the seats.

Not something I'd consider doing but I've often wondered about the story behind these.

I gotta say, I wasn't expecting all that when I opened this Thread!
    Here's a few milder versions I've done:

hey, let's all paint are cars black with red wheels......................
i think the plaid is cool, different and stands out. makes your car different and at a low cost. it was not meant to be permanent so the car could be put back, just like everybody else's or a customizer could use it in other ways also.
ohh wait, let's paint are cars black with red wheels......much much better than cats, i could see them again and again........

A search shows that several outfits actually do sell wrap material for cars in different plads. I could see it on a long roof or maybe as in insert on the side of a panel.

Ok, the guy buys a good used 54 Pontiac "road slug" with a 103 HP straight 8 and thinks a plaid decal will actually give the 3700 LB snail some "zing!"...Maybe I need the $9.95 version for my Schwin bike.

Seems I may have seen the paisley design embossed in a solid color vinyl top on some 70s luxury ride or it may have just been the seats, cant remember, dont remember the flowers but they are one of those things that is different and kind of cool just because......
