It's really bad out there, I sort of glad I'm an old fart. Only been working a few hours a week and thinking more and more about retirement. I'll be 65 next May so I guess I could pull the plug anytime now.
Man if that's true I AM screwed. After almost getting to my 14th year I got a 20 minute notice that my job was over and it paid pretty well. Looks like it'll be another couple of years or more again before I can even think about finishing the body and painting the 55. Anybody wanna buy a house, ok how bout a 3 year old daily. shit I"m screwed
Congrats! I'm working on month 14 so I know where you're coming from! I just signed back up for school to get my bachelors, hopefully that will help out.
lets see here. I have been at my current job 15 years and have been looking for a new job for 15 years. I have found people dont hire you if you already have a job. but you now the minute I walk out the door nobody will be hiring. go figure.
I know how it is Brother, we are holding on by a shoe string. We all will get by with just helping each other anyway we can , A lot of the time that is just to listen when our friends want to talk and vent..... I'm glad your back to work and pray for all the other that still need jobs..... Good luck.
