Well after 29 years of racing hydroplanes, I have hung up the helmet and am committing my time to a life long interest. I have always loved '34-'41 coupes. As I purge my 29 year collection of stuff I am getting closer and closer to formulating my master plan for a coupe. I have had muscle cars, camaros, chevelles, novas and the like in the distant past but have seemed to have lost interest in that stock. I would REALLY like to find a '40 or '41 Plymouth business coupe. The final product keeps driving through my mind, and I am looking forward to the ride! Jason

Well when you find a 40 or 41 Plymouth.. WELCOME TO THE CLUB! You couldn't have set your sights on a more perfect looking car... WAAAAYYY better looking than the '40 ford coupes by far.. (did I stir the pot up enough with that one.. hehe)
Welcome from Ontario, Canada. The Plymouths you're talking about have great rooflines and have 117' wheelbases. Too bad the two I have are in such rough shape, rotten and thin.
jason welcome from pa. i seem to be rambing tonight . so i wont tell the same story again (last post 5 minutes ago) but , welcome , and above all-have fun and learn some neat shit . todd
Welcome from the Netherlands! Great choice in the 40/41 Plymouth coupe, there's a few guys here that got them. Good luck with your search.
welcome, thats a fine choice of a car, i just dont agree with the other of it being cooler than the 40 ford.
Thanks guys. Sounds like this board is a trip in itself! I need to slow down my search and make sure that I choose the right project, I'm becoming blindly obsessed in the hunt. I guess I could do worse things with my time...
