  2. Hey what can I say....I’m an important guy! Lol

Should I book now for a spot next winter for the convertible seats? They are asking for leopard print inserts.

  8. Snafu, she ordered white thread from the J&J place, V92 i believe, but it's fraying and breaking, she has cussed more tonight than I've ever heard out of her lol. I told her to just quit for the night, throw that junk in the trash, and order from the thread exchange. To be continued....

  11. I opened this thread because it’s that time of year, it’s nice out, the yard and animals are squared away for summer so back onto the truck. I welded up the extra holes in the front bed panel, it’s ready to get sandblasted. Pulled the tailgate and started doing bodywork, I now remember how much I love sanding....

pictures tomorrow, forgot to bring my phone to the shop with me.

  12. She's gonna ship one back to you, then ship the other one. You should have them both in the next couple of weeks ;)

  13. No rush, at the rate I work I’ve got a couple moths of bodywork to go

  14. I guess I've gotta quit putting it off and get some stuff done to my car. I've been busting my ass on customer stuff, trying to get caught up enough so i don't feel guilty lol

  15. I spent the last couple of days moving chicken coupes and pigs out of the barn into the outside pen. Now I think everyone is settled so on to the truck

As promised a few crappy pictures to make sure it looks better then it is. I’m not so much going for laser straight so much as sorta smooth, my story is it’s an old Saskatchewan farm truck, I don’t want to lose all the character.

I came to the conclusion I will probably put spray in box liner on the inside of the box to avoid doing serious body work on the inside.

Well my goal for the day was to get the tailgate ready for primer and mow my grass. With today coming to an end it’s time to make a goal for tomorrow. It is to finish getting the tailgate ready for primer and mow my grass....fml

  20. Accomplished the goals for the last two days!! Yay me! The tailgate is mostly smooth, ten or twelve coats of primer and it should be presentable, got the rear box crossmember ready for primer as well. Hopefully get started on a box side tomorrow

  21. IMG_2691.JPG started on a box side, scuffed the epoxy I left it in for the winter, spent a couple hours with a hammer and dolly straightening it out a little better, now started bodywork.

Looking better and better! Your truck is going to look great so don't sweat the small stuff. Or you may want to do what I plan and have a little sign made up with...

" If there is something on this vehicle that doesn't meet with your standards send check to the following address and it will be retrified!".

  24. Thanks man, I’m not worry about perfect at all, I drive my stuff, a lot! It will get used once in a while as a truck so as long as it looks decent I’m happy.

One box side ready for primer, talked to a buddy that owns a body shop and he is going to do the spray in liner stuff for me, inside the box, inside the rear fenders/wheel wells and the running boards. Running boards will be white and the box will be green and wheel wells black. Getting there.
