built a hokey *** paint booth to paint box parts in. The paint booth I normally rent at a local shop is busy for the foreseeable future. So here we go! Also no spray in box liner inside the box, my number one box liner guy bought a shop so he’s moving his body shop over the next couple of weeks and my number two box liner guy is busy for the next couple of weeks so **** it! I’m rocking the imperfections on the inside of the box.
One more coat of white on the inside of the box parts and hopefully I can get some green on them tomorrow so the box can start to get re***embled.

That's what it's all about ain't it? The fun part of this **** is building cars. If i wanted to drive a hot rod that somebody else built I'd go buy me a new challenger ;)

As it was raining this morning it occurred to me I should set up my fancy paint booth inside my shop….when I pull everything out to put in my hoist I think I’ll do that!

I agree, it’s far from perfect but usually the people that criticize are the ones that either have no car or don’t drive theirs. **** em, I built this thing to put miles on, flaws and all.

I forgot to hit quote for Lloyd’s post above. Could be the paint fumes…

Box is going together. All of the exterior visible fasteners are polished stainless bolts, I use my belt sander to smooth the heads then polish them.
I started to fit bed wood. In keeping with my farm truck theme I went with reclaimed “barn wood” all from here on my little farm.
Kind of a shabby chic theme…

She has to put the listing wire back in one of your bottom seat covers and they're done, but she's on the hospital rotation until Thursday, so it'll be Friday when they start their journey back home :D

Fenders are painted. Tailgate as well but I was impatient with it and have some serious solvent popping on the tailgate so I’ll sand it and reshoot it in the next few days.

Running boards are in the paint shanty today getting sprayed cream and they and the fenders will go on this week

Got the exhaust finished up, oil pressure gauge plumbed. Few little things to finish up, going to try to get plates on it end of this week.
