I just came in from the shop with the biggest grin on my face in a LONG time. After a few years of neglect and other commitments my little truck made it to the hard road. 406 SBC w/ shorty pipes and gl*** packs, T-350 trans, 3.73 12 bolt posi rear + junk yard tires = lots of smoke and big fun!!! We (me and my stepson) had so much doing burnouts and shaking out the timing that the right rear tire is now flat. Had to air it up to even get it in the shop for the night Here are some pics of one of the nice burn outs here in redneckville. Made enough noise to warrant a few neighbors from streets over to do some slow drive bys to see what was up - hehehe - LOVE staight pipes with gl*** pacs out behind the front tire. Can' wait for April to see what she will do against the Georiga folks
Thanks for the kind words - here is shot from the front with the hood off. The dodge behind it has a tricked out ***mins that is in the 14's plus gets 22mpg Question about the rules - can a hood be optional? The damn thing weighs a metric ton The second pic is Brad, our youngest, checking the mirror for traffic. He is a diesel freak but is coming around to vintage speed
