It's finally in and up and running. Still have tobuild the exhaust, break it in, do some tuning and set the timing but she is in and here is the proof! The last 5 seconds of the video is the best. That rev is mean sounding!
Yes, It is one of the repop ones from Patricks. Thanks Eric. I still have some tuning to do. I just put it top dead center, stabbed the distributor and turned the key. I haven't put a timing light on it yet or made any adjustments. Once that is done it should run pretty well. It was just running on the fuel in the bowls. The pump isn't doing it's job yet. Got to get that fixed tomorrow.
Cool, cool, cool!!! I was listening to Clutch's Binge and Purge, the last part when I read this and watched the video. I don't know how to explain how perfect the timing was! You need to look up the song and listen to it the whole way through. You'll see what I mean. BloodyKnuckles
