My 27 T, wheels are western "bullets" made in the sixties, sans hubcaps, they were in the shop. Power is a 2.3 pinto, C3 auto, soon to be replaced with a stick, coil sprung rear, superbell axle out front, nose is part of a*****shutt tractor fuel tank, I just finished the box. Dash is a reworked 29 chev, it adapted over to the T with surprisingly little effort, got more to do, but getting there.
I wish I could take credit, but I don't know who made it, I only know what it was once, the old guy I got the car from originally, claimed to have done it. Car was much different when I got it, spent all winter redoing most of it, only the body remains the same with the exception of the box.
A roadster in the snow. Everyone will know you're walking down the the hall because your brass balls will be clanking. AWESOME!
Thanks all, much appreciated, got lots of hours in this beauty, today was first drive day, total of a mile or so, it really wasn't that cold.....not that I'd notice.
Now gotta tear some of it apart again, more to do, I'm from the put it together, drive it, tear it apart camp. By spring it'll be a runner, haven't figured out a name for it yet, leaning toward scallops and a racy looking #35 on each door, no color chosen yet either. All my stuff is flat black, my 36 ford p/u is a gem, but may go green on this job. Sure steers nice in the snow....just like power steering, even got enough power to burnout......in the snow.
Very cool T - any chance you could shoot some closeups of the nose? It has great proportions - would love to see the tank before it became a grille shell . Steve
