    Get done last night?

Yes again I worked late last night. I managed to get the front brake lines bent, flared and ran to the master cylinder. I ran out of line so the rear will have to wait til tonight. Oh yea I also put in a new trans dipstick tub grommet in and a kick down cable repair kit!!!

NOW WHAT DID YOU DO LAST NIGHT!!

I drilled and tapped some floor screws. Solved a big snag with the battery mount. That will free up lots of other things to do. It's great when the light bulb lights and things fall into place!!

Well, as planned we had the leftovers from the Chicken and Dumplins' that I had made on Monday night. And they did thicken up as I thought they would. My only regret is that the dumplings more or less disintegrated and became more like part of the broth. We did as before talk about how much we loved the Green Bean...and tried to come up with ideas or ways we could make our projects more like it. I also painted some valve covers for the Lincoln I am selling.

  4. Made dinner, did my homework, washed the hounds then went to the barn and took a bunch of pictures of junk, posted them for people who want to trade, and put some stuff in the classifieds.

Ran some more wires and assembled another small part of the simplified harness. Finished making the mount for my fusebox and junction block and bolted it into the glovebox area.

Nothing glamorous...just getting some basic shit taken care of! [IMG]

So what i did last night was get the motor ready to pull, all i have left to do is the tranny bolts and motor mounts and i hope to get it out tonight! Ill take pics as soon as i get batterys for my camera!! Nate

  13. Went back to work on my new office, hope to finish it up this week, so I can move a wall or two and finish up my garage befor spring (long story, but I really can't work on the driveway any more).
Spent some time bench racing with the wife. What, you don't bench race with the wife? I'd bench race with you but you're not here. [IMG] [IMG]
There is a down side to bench racing with the wife, can't lie she was there most of the time.

Bought more early junk I couldn't pass up even though I don't have a project for it yet: Chevrolet script valve covers to go with my '54 Merc air cleaner, '35 Ford wheels and '46 Ford steering wheel.

    See where this is heading?

  20. Went after a cheap Bronco I bought for the front sheetmetal(to fix a wreck here in the shop) The dude had a big lump under a tarp in his tiny back yard.......31 Tudor body. Frame leanin against the garage.....His wife said "You NEED that old car!" My pulse rate went up a little. I thought to myself "hey Beavis, you're gonna SCORE-heheheh"..... 'Bout the time I lifted the tarp and saw rotten door bottoms , dude said "yeah, I gave $2100 fer it" [IMG] End of MY excitement

Went home, opened beer, watched "Roids" [IMG]

I took the radiator out of the mother in law's Taurus in the dimming twilight.
Watch a bitch suck job that was. Less fun than wearing shoes that are two sizes too small

Johnny Ace, its a good running 1926 Dodge depot hack.. It has a new engine ,new paint, new upholstery, new wood (OAK), new glass. The reason it looks like that is because the freshly painted cowl, hood, fenders etc need to be put back on. The tires are 6.00x20 ! same size as my 1935 Ford 1 1/2 ton truck! The Dodge is heavy duty, high quality that makes the same year Ford look flimsy in comparison. What am I gonna do with it? I guess I'll go to the grocery store in it. Ride around and look for Babes. [IMG] What would you do with it? I will probably drive it to Colorado (seriously)

Man! MOC....I couldn't place the details...it sure had me guessing....That roofline sure fooled me into thinking it was an A....
I would rent it out to surf bands for videos and stick longboards in it....OR add some wooden scrollwork, paint it black and stick a coffin in it .....cruise around St Louis #1 in Nawlins and drive hot Goth chicks around....
    Yes,I would!

Intended to head right to the shop after night class, but first got the 30th birthday party flyer-invite done (see "Caption Quest" post from last night), burnt a pizza (typical, really) THEN got into the garage, did filler work on the rear fenders 'til near 5 AM (today's my Sunday), a real assault of Evercoat, 60 grit, Springsteen and Coors.

Found the perfect location for the battery cut off switch and started making the neccessary cables to hook everything up on my 35 pu. Also polished the carb throat and drilled out the main jet on my little 2 stroke scooter [IMG]I'm tired of the kid down the street smokin me in the nightly neighborhood scooter races...lol [IMG]

I finished the wiring job on my 54 and checked everything and everything works great. Except when I push on the brakes the front signal lights go on. Least I know what's wrong and its a simple fix.
