It was 65° in Ohio today, so I got the frame shot with epoxy primer. It's been tough getting motivated to do much with the cold snap we had for most of January. Back to 37° for a high tomorrow, but I've got front and rear suspension to disassemble and paint so I have things I can do without having warm weather, just need the motivation.
I've got a roller! Next step is put it on cribs, get the motor and trans cleaned and painted and get it in the frame.
A fucking comedy of errors later, motor and trans are in the chassis. Next, measure for a driveshaft and get the bottom of the body painted, Raptor lined and caulked so I can get it back on the chassis. Hopefully the weather cooperates.
Thanks! I get email from photobucket weekly telling me my pics will be deleted if I don't pay a monthly fee. I downloaded all the pics years ago, delete away and quit bothering me
That's always how it goes. When something goes together smoothly and without issue, I am instantly suspicious and begin looking for things to fall on me from a great height.
I had a ton of pictures in a fee Picasa account then one day they changed it. I lost most of them and lose more every time Mac does an upgrade to the photos.
It's a complete running chassis. If the rain ever stops, I'll swap garages with the body so I can get it ready to go back on the chassis. A tornado came through my neighborhood last Sunday. I didn't sustain any real damage other than trees down in the woods. The house shook and the roar and amount of shit hitting it was something I'd rather not experience again. I thought for sure the detached garage would be destroyed, along with the coupe body, but it didn't even lose a shingle. Here's to sunnier days ahead.
