Thanks! cool roadtrip those cobblestones sure get slick in the rain. Love the gps in the windshild shot. Heck I loved it all. Ron
Look's like a great adventure, and a great post. Just gotta ask, what is this, from the sirens looks like some sort of government vehicle, fire dept, or? Is it a big 41 rpu?
A GPS MOUNTED IN THE WINDSHEILD OF A MODEL _A_ FORD. Now I think I have seen it all. Loved the pics. of the lovely ladies with the Home Brewed comment. This is a wonderful thread about what appears to have been an excellent trip. More power to you. I hope you have many more.
Great pictures! Just one question.....Did the GPS come stock in the Model A or is that an aftermarket item? WOnderful car.
No, thought it best to miss a lap of the ring. There was still along way to go, and we wanted to get home. But did think of it... Hi Mark, yup! Odgies Northern Meltdown certainly was a great weekend. We were only home a couple of days then off again. It feels like we've lived in a tent besides the A for the last month. Wouldn't have it any other way. See you at the Hayride . M. It's a 1941 Ford Fire Truck. Way cool. Ha, ha, ha, no it didn't but it's great for planning routes that don't hit the Autobahns, or highways. Plus no arguments when map reading, and the speedo reading is accurate - my speedo cable snapped the day before we left. Thanks everyone for your feedback, it sure was a memorable experience. 'Lest we forget'. Mark and Gill.
I'd say most of central Europe like the US. Some feel that WW11 did not end until the nineties - the fall of Communism. But it's probably best not to talk politics. Cheers.
Way cool road trip, 1 question, in pic 4 what the hell are you eating? Looks like a heart attack on a plate! Scotty.
Ha, ha, ha, probably is, it was the nightly spacial, a meat feast for two, with fries. Most of the other nights we had salad, honest.
Haven't looked yet (need to pluck up the courage), but I'd guess around 20 mpg. Though the further we got into central Europe the cheaper fuel got.
