Damn, LOWCAB.... skill upon skill!! Nice work...
...and Jigger, when you head to Omaha, let me know, I'll get you the number. Shop's name is J2 Speed & Custom, and they've been doing some pretty cool Pro-Touring style stuff, and the Galaxie is a departure from their norm...
Damn I missed this stuff over the move!!

Erica welcome to the Art Show. Good to have you here. I like your style.

No airbrush, I just use the acrylics like a watercolor.

  11. More production work this week(best one was a Deuce roadster.A later post will show some pics of this guy's garage that has several more 32's) and tomorrow will bring more.Next week is a 1901 Oldsmobile.

The Hoodlum Alley thing is 1-Shot on paper for a T-shirt design.I'm not real happy with the lettering, but he needed it,"yesterday".

The round sign is a work in progress.Ihe bracket bolts vertically to a wall in a friend's family room.It will be a mag wheel on one side with a slick and a WWW on the other with an Olds Fiesta hubcap.Tire lettering will be,"Horvath's Bar-Open 24/7".

The last pics are of a present my wife purchased at an auction in town.Memo to self: NEVER leave your wife at an auction with a credit card and a checkbook!

It is a 1920's era safe made of 3/8ths inch steel plate and weighs about 500 lbs.I know this because my testicles are residing in my socks right now after moving this pig home today. The lettering is transfer gold but the striping is all hand painted. For $50 plus $40 to have a friend bring it on his rollback,I think I'm in good shape. If nothing else,it will make a great workbench!

  13. Won't have much new completed for a while, day job's keeping me too busy but here's a couple color comps.

#1: can't deside which color combo I like best, lean heavily towards the red primer.

#2: Not a Hot Rod? Wrong forum? Art?
