From 103, down to 96. Sounds like we'll be there just in time for the cool front!

The first drags were hot and fun. We can make a day of it. We might want to think about stocking some water and maybe a cool down motorhome. I was able to borrow a motorhome the first year but it is no longer available. I might be able to come up with another one if we think it is the thing to do.

I know it's all "tough" and whatnot to wear black, but it's really wise to dress in white in these kinda conditions... just my 2cents... if ya got a cool white T, wear the sum*****... girls, I would just strip to the waste and call it good.

Why does everyone ***** about how hot it's going to be...??? You're only there for three days MAX...**** it up...

If I was afraid of 103 degree heat and 90% humidity, I'd stay home...and I don't have A/C in my old Stude for the 13 hour trip from here to there either...wussies...!

The humidity has been tolerable in the upper 30 to 40% range, so not AS bad. Yes it is summertime ya know...

Does Carl have a water ****ket we can hook up to? We can build an industrial size slip-n-slide.... Or get a stock tank and fill it with icewater LMAO.

Haven't meet any southeastern Oklahoma hambers yet but would like to soon! Maybee some of them will come out for the hamb drags and we can all meet up at the feed fridaynight.

W#orm, I am very familiar with McAlester. I drive through there every Thanksgiving on my way to Smithville. I always wanted to buy the hotel and live in it. That thing is bad.

Yeah, we're going into our 6th week of no rain. Hopefully we'll get some between now and the drags, those weathermen can't predict that far ahead. And Ryan, thank you much for getting us in at the track early!
