Hi everyone, My name is Major and Ive lived in Kansas all my life, in fact Ive never left the farm! Ive been working in aircraft tooling or machine shops my entire adult life. I signed up on H.A.M.B. nearly a year ago and decided maybe it would be a good idea to finally introduce myself. Working on cars and other machinery has always been a matter of necessity with me and has only in the last couple of years become a hobby. I appreciate the work and money some people put in to their fancy hot rods with 5k paint jobs and more bolt on goodies than you could shake a stick at but for me, if it cant be driven down a dirt road daily then its all a waste of time and money. Thanks for sharing the way you did in your profile Major. You and I are a lot alike in what life has dealt out. And there's a lot more of us than those born with the silver s****. The roots of hot rodding have always been finding a way to improvise rather than to buy something in a box. Welcome aboard from Maryland......
major welcome aboard. from your intro i would take it you have a vast knowledge of all things mechanical, and in this day and time that is a great thing. looking forward to hearing your opinions, suggestions, and of course about your ways of repairing/building things...enjoy!!!!!!
Welcome from the great white north. Does your wife call you Major? I can't even get mine to call me Sir !!!
