Poser Class (run one of the house cars) - $12
Spectators - $5

RULES

Rules? We don't need no stinking rules! Fastest Pro car (by acclamation) gets prize and trophy, with additional prizes for purtiest car and best wreck. House cars and controllers will be provided.

After the micro-mayhem, everybody's invited to the vintage Des Plaines Lanes Lounge for apres slot beers.

 

It will be a day recorded in infamy....

I just ordered a body, so now it's crunch time. Nothing like waiting until the last minute... just like with a real car!

The WI boys have been surprisingly quiet now that race day is approaching...

I've been interested in slot cars for a while but i have only been able to find info on the little ones, where do you guys get your stuff and what scale are the cars you use?

Just bought JB Weld! I'm not messing around with the demo-derby drivers from Illi-noise...!!!

Tip from Bobbleed...; "build it with a lot of weight" "won't go fast..., but it will surely stop an opponent "Dead in his tracks"!

For that reason..., I think I'll get a case of JB Weld...!!

As for the posters, Johnny Ace sent me the artwork yesterday, I 'spect to get it tomorrow; I'll be running off copies at a print shop for every attendee, plus extras for anybody else who wants one. Should be pretty cheap. Johnny is working on a fancy commemorative poster too. I'll post details & such later.
