Sa, sa snow...no way hoe say eh!...its gonna be cool but not that cool...it'll sure beat the average cruise night...in fact it'll be my first truly Vintage Show with a cutoff in years...like you with Deucedays there may be a number of our southern friends from across the border...no pics still, maybe it didn't happen...

Great meeting you Stogy. Didn't realize you lived so close, Ontario is a big place. It was a fantastic show and all pre 64. Jeff, Jay and Brandon do a fantastic job. I've been to all 7 and I think this was the biggest yet. I took my banger RPU and there were at least 7 others there with stock or modified 4 bangers. Many, many more with other engines. Nine great bands and prizes including a totally refurbed antique barber chair. Hopefully pictures come soon.

I truly felt a special connection meeting you and so many others there Warren...truly a Premium event overflowing with Hamb style content...

...I am working on a whopper/shiload of a pile O' pics...I had a flawless journey home last night...got caught in a few doosies of traffic jams...1-1.5hrs at least but I just puttered along with it and the temp never got higher than a little over 200°
Lots of curious onlookers chatting thru open windows in the JamUp of another sort...

Yes high praise to @Jeff Norwell and the team for delivering a memorable milestone that I will remember for a lifetime and pine till it happens again...

...Stogy was like a kid in a candy store...

...I so so enjoyed this event...the atmosphere was again just something I won't ever forget...to all involved from the Jamup Team to the participants you made my day...

@Stogy great catching up with you! Car is looking good, always nice to put a face and car to a name. Great turn out this weekend.

 

I'm going to name a few Hambers I had the pleasure of meeting in no particular order...I know there were no doubt others and while I may have missed you I sure felt your contributions visually and your hospitality if I met you...I was as said impressed by the period quality and respect of everyone I spoke with...

I also bumped into a number of Hambers that are still on but aren't majorly active at the moment...Chris (32 Ford 5W Highboy, Joe Brown's Father Jeff (Anglia Prefect Drag Sedan)...I encouraged them to consider returning...we make the Hamb what is literally...

Forgive me if I missed any as I talked till my voice went...maybe that was a good thing for your ears...

I'm sorry I didn't take you fellas out for a ride...we should do that more than we do...next time...congratulations on your award Joe...could you share it with us...I know it was a very Spiritual Piece with many connections to a Late Member in a Club...perhaps the Lead Kings or Infidels...

Please share your ride...I know you told me about it but I forgot what it was...I have a lot of Images still to sort...I may have captured it...

I got a couple shots of that Late Customizer's Olds and I may have captured a pretty surreal play on color...

Update...It was Joe's Olds...The Flamed Buick was the Late Mels ride...

Thanks to the others enjoying and liking the inspirations to the Yesteryear...

 

I opted out of Friday as the forecast was iffy...I was making a 240 mile ride in a 1/2 fendered coupe, sans wipers, many seals and no hood...

I did ask around and it never even rained at all at the event...I'm very Happy for those who made it there Friday...I would not have been as fortunate...but Saturday was flawless all around...

There's 400 or so I'm downsizing them...I'm doing my best...but yeah it was quite a day...​

I'm not sure @pprather, Jeff will have those stats. I will share a few pics of just random group shots but as an amateur I later realized that I could have went Up on bleachers and got some overheads but I hope some did...

The Journey...Sorry some are blurry 25k of Highway Crossing F2 Tornado a few weeks ago I think no deaths thankfully but she ripped the landscape of every living branch and foliage including the trunk bark...150+ yo Properties houses, barns, and farms leveled..

I've driven Hwy 7 through the Marmora to Tweed region for 50 years and not seen devastation at this scale, my drive and roads were clear since with flawless cruising. I feel for anything involved with these violent moments in extreme weather...

The early 50s Bowtie it front was near Bowmanville...I thought they may have been going to the show but they turned off...Very few Vintage rides on the road Saturday...

Pic loading...big pic threads are technically challenging to me sometimes...

After a fantastic drive minus some instant potholes of random shit that'll bust anyones rims or tax the mechanical systems...it was 1963 on the way to a Day of injesting the Hotrod/Custom scene...powerful drive train for a lightbody Wartime period Hotrod thats evolved too 1963 now smallblock powered...that is inspiration...







...an old Canadian hotrod heavy Channel and a bonafied tripback to 1957 or somewhere in between...

That Roadster could easily be 1940...but its like a time capsule found and given the performance of a Bowtie in 1958...oh yeah...would Stogy do that in 1958 absolutely and turn the key and feeling the power...terrain and experience varied...that was many extremes the times aren't 63 but there are many moments at ease just playing that power...that gets you to maximum speed...









...The 63 experience with the Beautiful Culture that it can be...

Yup, it looks like it was great-like I knew it would be. I was on track for Friday, but a life long friend died in tragic farm accident on Thursday, so as farmers so often say- maybe next year. I am enjoying the pictures, remember all, every day is precious.
