    hey guys,

just thought id through up an update on the flattie. fixed the shorted wiring and it fired up just fine, took it for about a 15 mile cruise and it ran alright but had definatly lost some get up and go and realy felt like it was running fat.

fast foward to this morning and hellraiser came over in his 32 drag car turned street legal-"ish" and got the dwell and ect set. fired it up and it sounds quite a bit different then last night, back to a healthy pissed off roar.

took it down the street threw all three gears and back and it feels like its got twice the power it did before it died and i started tearing into it. i was realy excited to see how it turned out as i thought it ran fine before with an oil leaking ****ping out coil, super coroded points and 50 year old condensor and rotor.

a coil, points, rotor, condensor later and its a new machine. very cool.

id like to say out loud thanx to dallas aka hellraiser. im preety sure if he hadnt made his multiple trips over here to help me id still be scratching my head or at least running with a ****ed out ignition. learned alot, i apreciate it

Glad you got it going better ...
and you got to learn a little too ... :)

Just remember to p*** the favor on
Helping others is a lot of what to HAMB does best .

Get yourself a dwell meter and a timing light ... if you do not already have one.
