Put a new battery in the Triumph, she fired on the first kick like any good Triumph should and I went for a nice ride in this awesome weather!

I spent the weekend and most of last week doing 16 hr. days trying to get my A roadster on the road to PA titling. At their current four week turnaround I will be able to salvage the last half of summer if I really move. Three more weeks would make this a 14 week build from start to title, not bad.

  6. I got the motor in my 53 dodge Pilothouse running, one mean mutha!
There are lots of goodies in this critter, but my favorite item is my old school Mallory converted to HEI by HAMBer GMC Bubba. Its beautiful and I hid the coil and module etc under the dashboard so the firewall stays clean and simple looking.

No, no giant tank, I ground down the rivets and knocked the whole frame apart. This weekend I just did the crossmembers. But doing the rails won't be hard, I've got a bunch of 4 x 4's that I'll scab together to make a long skinny "tank" and line it with a couple of layers of visquine (sp?) I'll lay a length of re-bar in the bottm for the cathode.

picked up my new air compressor so i can get some paint on the minor.
On the way home i stopped at a stop sign in the middle of nowhere and heard a ringing, found a cell phone in the grass. Managed to find out who the owner was and get that back to them. What luck it rang just as i stopped

GOOD FOR YOU! Did the same 3-4 years ago best plane ride for the money in my book. Got to think about my Dad as a ground crew member and all the kids that went up in them and never made it back. Good to see them flying.
