Got the bug again to work on the wagon.. Spent Saturday beginning to install a SPW power wiper set up. Got the factory Wiper Transmission cut (removed the pulleys) and the housing drilled to work with the SPW tranmissions (go thru the factory ones so I can use the factory underdash and outside stainless bezels.). Cut out the p***enger side kickpanel metal and fab'd up a bracket with studs to mount the motor (its will hide behind a kick panel) and got it tacked in (with a buddies help) will finish up over the week I hope.. Switched gears on today and spent most of it (between watching some NASCAE) putting in a front swap bar to see if it helps with the hard lean in the corners.. after two trips to the hardware store for hardware and large drill bit its all in (test drive tomorrow after work)...

So what did you get done....

Started the tidy-up of some of the paint details on my F-1, bringing the cab interior and underhood back to their '50s niceness.

Also started getting acquainted with my new custom spec'd and built computer. Jesusmaryandjoseph I hadn't a clue how fast 512 RAM is, driven by a state-of-the-art processor!

  11. Well i finally bought the truck thats taken me months to track down.Threeduece56 actually fluked upon it at a swapmeet. It was in the right neighborhood where I was told it was,but completely outa sight.I worked on the 61 nomad on saturday, gettin close to driving it!Cleaned all the model A parts from under my sundaeck.Taken it to my shop tomorrow, got about six to build so i'm gonna see what I need.Today I went to check out our new property. It looks like were getting 6 acres to build my new shop and of course our new house. And thats all folks........Shiny

Spent alot of time fabbing up pieces and eyeballing my Triumph Chopper project. Figured out my back fender now that I have a nice fat rear tire on her. Also came up with a *****in tail light/ Lisc. plate bracket idea. Its gonna be wild. Made a list of all the things I need to finish it up as well.... Should have worked on my 5 window but now I HAVE to...(See my other post from this evening)

  20. moved the last 3 P.U. truckloads of ugly furniture out of my g'parents condo Sat.

Sun. visited my friend and his family who rented a hotel room on the beach, ate seafood, drank rum.

My friends father offered me the back half of his HUGE barn (it can hold 8-10 cars easy) to work on my Ford in. have to clear it out first. He owned a Rexall drug store up til 82 and there is a bunch of funky stuff in there.

Wants me to put it on ebay. penny fortune scale, OLD register, BIG OLD lawn tractor, older Honda XR75, old signs, old tools. Too dark to see everthing, but there was stuff in there when he bought the place in the 60s. he said we could split the profits.

Not a total waste of time or brain cells. Also keeps super secret next project parts collecting from G.F.s eyes.

Scored 80 dollar turbo 350, sanderson block huggers cheap and crusty old Torker manifold, I managed to offend old guy by asking what his bottom price was on a reasonably priced manifold, thought he was gonna throw somthing at me, left in a hurry!

    hung out with dirt bags,
    made my chick cry.
    ate some sushi.
    pooped water from sushi
sent FLORIDA some 16" rims for their hot rods..
and Called 1800-street rod, to see if they needed a BOOTH at BILLETPROOF next year....

Entered the AHRA Reunion drags at MO KAN in two cl***es, Open Gas and the Street Rod shootout. Red lighted in the open gas elimination(a bracket cl***). Won the streetrod shootout. The old truck was faster this year(I made some changes since the HAMB drags) but I had run slower in the time trials than my competion. I cut a better light and beat the number one qualifier even though he was faster. Drove to the strip, won a trophy, drove home. Life is good.

Went to Goodguys Saturday till around 3. Came home, gutted the interior of a '64 Riviera to find (surprise surprise) rusty floorboards. Emptied the trunk of spare parts, trim, and nasty carpet to find (seriously surprise) not much rust at all. Cut Hamiltons bike into numerous pieces, went to sleep. Sunday, welded broken off seat brackets back onto the seats. Welded Hamiltons bike back together in a longer, lower configuration. Thats about it...
