Still plugging away on the garage, tossed another truck load into the dumpster. I hope nobody wanted a 455 Olds intake and quadrajet, flathead intakes, fuel pumps, 37 backing plates, and much more. Did find a little time to clamp and wire some coupe parts together. It's in the cl***ifieds 20231012_135712.jpg 20231012_135739.jpg

WOOF....i'm far from being a neat freak. i save a lot of worthless (buick) stuff. only because of being a r&d machinist. 'save it, might need it. i tell my son'. maybe one of these days i will sort it out. but now getting close to the end of the story, my wife and i tell my son 'everything south of the asphalt driveway will be yours'. he justs shivers. lol.

Just be patient and they will appear. Don't be afraid to make an "offer", especially if they have been listed awhile. There is a guy that sells on the local Facebook. I went up to his house in Indiana once, real old home on some acreage. He had a field full of used cabinets..........sitting there getting rained on. I can only ***ume he had some kind of way to get them from public offices cheaply or free. I'd guess there were a few hundred different types. Bought the one I wanted, a 2 door cabinet. Next time I saw some of the drawer cabinets listed, he was pretty high on them $150-$200. They been listed a long time. It comes and goes, but they make really nice storage with the deeper drawers. Personally I don't care for 'file" cabinets, but they are cheap, often $25. I gave some to a guy to haul away because he bought something from me and I just wanted them gone. They came with some other stuff I bought at an auction.

Its probably nice to have a Nascar type setup jn a shop, but I honestly don't want something like that. My cabinets don't match or have any rhyme or reason.......they just work. Don't worry about scratch and dents or not being beautiful. Good Luck getting yours to work for you and thanks.

Found this in my shed this morning so I needed to 'overhaul' the shed. Remove everything, clean, sweep, bag, put everything back in. Blocked all openings in the soffit area. One F-n red squirrel!! 20231101_081252.jpg

A squirrel is nothing more than a rat with a fancy tail.

I muscled them in by myself. Hoping for help when I need to remove one.

As a coworker used to say to me, strong like mighty ox, dumb like tree stump. I would like to think I’ve just gotten smarter, but the reality is I’ve gotten weaker!

Bottom: Take the two bottom end boards off and let the bottom rear ends set on the ground ......then roll the cart away.

Top: Take the top end boards off , lift rear with small come-a-long and roll the cart aside. :D

Trying to wiggle them out is too taxing on knees and backs......if not today, you pay later.:)
