I was just trying to nudge Rusty into telling what kinda #'s the Anglias running ,but i figured he wouldnt talk .I guess we shall see what it runs come saturday .Even though Rusty is vague sometimes the time clock is right to the point.Im gunna make a few conservative runs in my Dodge on friday night (just to get used to it again) ,but saturday im gunna let it all hang out ...
Hey Rusty, are you digging out of the snow again?..............not a trace yet up here in Frisco............. M.
I have it through a good source that the track wasn't real good due to weather but ran a 6.14 @ 109 mph...
Good luck ya'all, here in Michigan we gotta come inside to thaw out in Feb.... its called Detroit Autorama, and its this week WWOOOOOOOOO HHHHHOOOOO! I can't wait !
Seat belts and a helmet if you got an open car. I think arm restrains also but the track supplied them last year. Tim
gonna make my first thaw this year. 28 won't be ready till the round up but i can't wait to get the season going. glad Big T and the boys are willin' to start the season off in feb... cold, hot, don't matter...let's go racin'
Sheeeeiiiit ,ha ,ha ,ha. .Tony your making my sides hurt .Sounds to me like you need to find yourself a new "source" ,cuz that informant is pulling your cord ...
I think Rusty is ignoring me .See you guys Friday night.I should be in the low 6's in warm weather, but i will proly have to settle for low 7's this time since i dont have a choke hooked up on the Dart ...
BTW on a serious note,i talked to a guy who ran his drag car there last weekend. He said the traction was great and consistant in both lanes. He made 4 passes and 3 of them were identical 1.35 60 foots .I hope it stays that way for this weekend ...
Looking good Dennis. Can't wait to get there and see what I can break this year. Got a whole new setup this year after last years fun. Maybe I can talk Shocker into a race.
I've been beat before ,so you wont get my cherry .I will race you though if you want .See you there ...
Looking forward to it. I have no idea what my truck will do. Never been down the track with this setup, but we will find out soon enough. See you Friday night.
It looks fast from what i have seen of it .I will line up with it and we will both find out how fast it is ...
Had a great time last year. Great people, cars and music. Wish I could be head up there but I have to work. Wish everyone a good time and a safe one.
WOO HOO, Good to hear the track is hooking up, that is what we seriously need for the Anglia. Cant do to much smack talking on the Anglia since I dont officially own it. I am personally hoping to get into the low 7's being 7.00-7.39. The best we have run is a 7.8 on not the best prepped surface and a 1.72 60 footer. all before the current setup. We will still be doing test and tune Saturday playing with the rear shocks and new panhard bar. the new setup we ditched the Motley Crew big tub rearend and put in a wider rearend running 9" slicks out back. We also took out the aluminum flywheel that was killing the launches and replaced with a steel one. The changes seem to work great this past weekend but the cold track surface was super slick The car is steady making improvements from day to day or should I say track time to track time. But in the end knowmatter what were there to have some fun and am so thankful for the guys and gals behind the scenes that help make these events what they are. You wont be hearing anymore smack talk from me. We just love to runem Rusty
