I've been slacking, but here are some pics anyway.

I have been kind of lazy as of late.

I have driven the roadster about 60 miles or so. I am still trying to sort out some issues with the carbs. I think most of them are worked out now. It was a royal pain in the ass though.

The car is pretty fun to drive. I had to crank the shocks up in the back a bit to keep it from bottoming out. It sure gets the looks going down the road. I even went by a cop and didn't get any grief over the "legality" of it. Ha Ha Ha

I wanted to get it all sorted out so I could drive it down at the roundup. Now we have 4 inches of snow and it is blowing all over the place.

I have also been working a little bit on the "rocket queen" project. I think that I am about 2 hours into it now. Ha Ha Ha

It is in what we refer to as "super mock up mode", I need some money so I can get a little further on it. The roadster has me broke! Ha Ha Ha Help a brotha out and buy a t-shirt from me at the Roundup!

I think the terrraplane wheels are going to be cool. I also had an 8 inch Maverick rear end that seems to fit pretty good. I plan on using an MAS dropped axle on the stock front springs and getting some chassis engineering leaf springs for the back. That setup worked pretty good on the spacetruck so I will go ahead and use it on this one too.

What kind/size tires are those on the rear?

I have a new set of Firestones (50+ years old) with a similar tread and have never seen any others that look like them

Also (and this may be a dumb question) but what brand is that cab?

This one is gonna be called the "Rocket Queen" showing some props to my heroes in Guns and Roses. Ha Ha ha

It is going to be a beater truck since I seem to keep fucking up and putting white interiors in my finished projects. It makes it really tough to drive to the parts store. This truck is being designed with the sole purpose of hauling my beer to Bonneville next year. Features will include an umbrella mount and definitely room for a large cooler.

It is a 36 Chevy truck. I REALLY NEED a windshield frame. Anyone got one?

As for the tires, I have no idear what they are. I want to run something similar on the finished product though. I have 5 of these wheels and want to mount one baja style in the Bed (59 Lincoln side panels) for a spare. I want all the tires to be the same size.

I'm pretty sure they are these.... http://coker.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=16267&cat=368&page=1

Edit: I can't figure out why that image won't show correctly.

  14. They handle better with all the tires the same size.
But non of that matters you had me at "beater'. But I guess you already know where I'm at.

The tires on the rims are probably 50 years old.

I like the looks of those Coker ones, but I don't like that $166 price tag. I may have to rethink my choice of rubber. Maybe Corky will hook a brotha up with a HAMB discount. Ha Ha Ha

I seriously want one of those shirts, shoot me a PM with price and stuff, I'm all about black T-shirts with cool shit on them and the lander is as cool as they come.Medium or large is my size of choice, I can pay with Paypal or shoot you over some good ole dough, since it goes to the cost of the queen it makes me a part owner, like maybe a valve stem or cab bolt!!Scot

Normaly I'd make fun of "super mock up mode", but with the other two cars in the background and your track record, I'll just shut up and anxiously wait for the next update.
