***us, you don't fool around, you just get'r done! Nice job, I too have a 49 F-1 and have both the front and rear suspension out of a 86 XJ6 but will have to wait until a couple of projects I'm working get completed. I sure intend to follow your work, nice job.
I rubber mounted my Jag front end, and after seeing ***us build I am thinking of Taking his lead and do a little cutting and lowering. Looks pretty slick. From the F-1 front cross member it is 5 1/8 " back. I have been mocking my motor so I really need to get motor out of the way and give a better measurement. 46Steel had a build that gave the measurements what he did. If you need more let me know.
