    Guys -

I'm working on a project car and want to duplicate the design/geometry of the classic Jaguar rear axle with the single lower control arm and dual coil-overs. Anyone out there have a detailed drawing, rear view of the axle? I'm interested in the relationship between the universals and the location of the control arm pivot points.

    Thanks
    Rick

Quick answer is driveshafts both dead straight and horizontal.
Lower arms slope up about 65mm to the diff.
Set pinion dead horizontal, pinion centre is displaced 50mm towards the right.

A simple search will not only answer all of your questions, but also provide you with mountains of additional information. Search for IRON MAIDEN's recent thread. He has been gathering tons of the technical information and specs that a lot of the other Jag IFS/IRS swappers leave out.

In addition to the above recommendations, a Wikipedia search of Jag IRS will produce some excellent photos and other info related to the Jag rear suspension.
