I am on Comcast for internet and Jalopy Journal and other Atomic sites have been blocked for me for over a year. I have had to download TOR so I can access these sites. If you don't know what TOR is.... check it out (it allows you to access pages anonymously).

Comcast refuses to acknowledge the issue, but funny.... I have no issue access the Atomic sites when at work (not Comcast) or on my phone (not COmcast). I have replaced EVERYthing.... modem, router, etc. Comcast IS BLOCKING me and I don't know why.

    Is anyone else experiencing this?

Here is the funny thing.... as soon as Jockey Journal changed hands.... bammo, I can access that site. But anything on the Atomic IP is blocked by Comcast (at least for me).

So again... is anyone else experiencing this? Its crazy that I have to resort to accessing my favorite sites on the web by going through a proxied server only.

I use the TOR Browser and it works fine.... but its annoying because I can't get any email updates through Comcast because they are blocking the IP. ALso, when using a proxy or IP hider like hidemy*** or TOR, the site is MUCH slower.

Anyway.... Comcast doesn't believe there is a problem, but when I finally got ahold of a network engineer, he did see an issue, said he would call me back, and then never heard a word back from him. I can only ***ume he is at the bottom of a river with concrete shoes for letting out the secret of Comcasts IP blocking policies :)

I've been on Comcast for years now, and never had an issue with JJ, or any other Atomic sites.
