Hi-Question for the ford flathead guys.I'm putting an 8BA in a '39 Ford coupe ,,running a dual carb intake and don't think i have room for the generator[not that it will need one] other than the belt for the water pumps. Will I need that pulley for the belt routing ? I have one idea, kinda far fetched, but wanted opinions and/or ideas from you guys. Thanks Doug Schriener

Many used an idler made from the front of a generator. Jalopies I watched in So Cal never had dual carbs. Farmers Speed Shop here on the HAMB advertised them years ago.

I’m running one belt which drives both the pumps and the generator on the 8ba in my 37.
I’m not using a mechanical fan.
Not a lot of room to work with the original distributor in place. 987CCBE7-04B7-45D8-A229-F3F2F3D85569.jpeg C91AE5F6-BCA5-411E-93CE-45BB0C1B99D9.jpeg
