Thanks man, that video is great. I can't wait for next weekend. Just a few more things to take care of.
Can I drive the sign around the track?? Car is mostly packed. Come by and see the VA Boys and sign our HAMB Banner! Cant miss it!!
Hey Larry, I've got a harley servi-car coming for a project for the metalshaping demo. We are going to do some paper and flexible pattern making , wire forming, and complex metalshaping. I've only seen pics but it should be a real learning experience. Sure you don;t want to make it 2 days..... tt
Anyone ready yet!? These pics aren't mine... pulled from the Hamb, but I can't stop smiling just lookin at them.
Pants are overrated ---they're going to be caked with mud anyway You don't find a crew chief like that everyday -- probably a good thing
Rain all week then Sunny and 79 on Saturday yaaaaahoooooooooooo!!!!! http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/17372
I have decided to come up Friday. I got a room at the Comfort Inn in Gettysburg. I'm a little uncomfortable (no pun intended) leaving my car in the Hotel parking lot at night. Anyone have any bad experiences with this in this area? Dummy spots, spinners and side pipes can come off pretty easy.
I wouldnt think you would have too much trouble there at the Comfort Inn. Gettysburg is mostly tourists. Especially in that part of town. Plus most of the parking lots are very well lit. You should be able to sleep OK.
If this damn rain keeps it up I'm leaving the raceboat hooked to the '51 and I'll try some short runs in the creek by the track .
Comfort Inn in Capital City / Mechanicsburg, Pa 717-766-3700 only 10 -15 mins away. Plus some Hamber's are staying there.
I have a 50 shoebox trunk, typical lower rust, that i started repairing years ago, never finished. The skin is decent, just a pin hole or 2, its free, send me a pm if anyone wants it, I'll toss it in the van.
