Event Coverage Jalopy Showdown at Lincoln Speedway?

  1. Can someone verify if this event is going to happen this year. I have tried to find it on the internet but no success. Thanks Joe

  2. Is this the event?

    May 17: Hot Rod Annual,
8 AM to 4 PM, at the Latimore Valley Fairgrounds Vendor Application

  3. I'd call the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing for details.

    Phone Number: 717-528-8279

  14. I'm having second thoughts. NO track time, NO thrill show. Hopefully be a good turnout of vintage cars and swap meet, but I will miss the cars-on-track at Lincoln for sure. A static show is just that, a static show. I know, this is where it all started and I'm all about tradition, but something just doesn't give me the positive vibes. At least there's the museum, always, always worth a visit. They do a great job with it. There's a cruise-in the next day at the Easton, Md. Airpark which is 60 miles away as opposed to latimore on sat. at 100 miles away. I have decided to make it to one or the other, but not both. Just too much for my old body! I really hope the Hot Rod Annual turns out great as we just don't have enough of these types of events left. We'll see.

I didn’t know there was no track time or thrill show ! Main attraction of the show. :(
I was on the fence but now I think I just fell off !
Cruise in sounds like fun, maybe I’ll see you there Don !

  19. Support the show. If people don't support the shows, they will cease to exist.

  20. ..Point taken.
