Went to the showdown this year for the first time, I'm hooked, it was great so... The girlfriend and I both took the weekend off so we could camp at the drags, hang out and hopefully meet some new people in the process. So who's all going??? and what ya bringing? Come say hi to me and heather if you plan on camping there. Just look for the big white 06 dodge sprinter. I'll be there with 999 my 48 and maybe Tower's coupe. I'll be runnin 999 hard. Lookin to put a hurtin on some flatheads with that 4 cylinder I'd challenge Zach to a grudge match but I doubt those flatheads will make it there let alone make it down the track Clark

Funny..my Merc made it all the way to Baltimore yesterday with a Flatty...of course it was of the more modern variety...and I seem to remember a '49 Ford that went cross-country a few times with a flat head engine too. I guess they didn't drag race back in the 40's....they just towed thier cars to shows and paraded around...? Spike
